October Rolodex Art Journaling Cards

Two weeks late, but here are the Rolodex cards I managed to get done in October. We babysat in Albuquerque for several days early in the month, then babysat Carl here for five days. In between I was sick for at least ten days with the virus that everyone has had.  I didn't get one done for each day but nineteen isn't too bad considering it was such a busy month!

First attempt at drawing faces - on watercolor paper with oil pastels

In honor of 2014 Balloon Fiesta - paper piecing and stamps

Old tag received from swap, cut up and reworked

Candy kiss wrappers (favors from my nephew's wedding)

Black gesso, texture paste and stencil, Silks paints, glitter paste, washi tape

Collage - old Webster's Pages papers

Blended Distress inks with embossing folder, gold Krylon pen

Haloween paper scraps and die cut

Paint scrap background with drawn flowers and doodles - paint pens

Stamping; dyed cheesecloth

Stamps and inks on map background

Watercolor background; owl drawn on book paper and painted

Spray ink background; stamp colored with Copic markers
and Inktense pencils

Layered painted scraps

Spray ink background on watercolor paper;
watercolored stamping technique on flowers

Texture paste, watercolors and leaf die cut on watercolor paper

Stamped on watercolor paper and colored with
Inktense pencils; stamped vellum banner

Halloween stamp; leftover bat and boo die cuts; vintage image
New Bo Bunny Glitter Paste and Tim Holtz "shatter" stencil;
stamps; spider die cut with Glossy Accents (hard to see)

Oh wow. You may have been short this month, but I gotta tell you ... these cards are the best ones you've done all year. LOVE THEM.
