March RCADs

I'm still working on the RCADs (art journaling Rolodex Card-a-Day) and managed to do 24 cards for  the 31 days of March. I did two on several days to make up for some days I was out of town and never got to it on some days. But it feels good to create something every day, even if it is small. I think you have to keep those creative muscles working!

So here are the first twelve cards, with a few notes where applicable. (I will share the remaining 12 in a day or two.)

security envelope with very old colored pencil sketch on tissue paper

gelli plate scrap, gelatos, Wink of Stella brush on scallops

scraps

stenciled book text, gel medium resist with black  paint

gesso and alcohol inks, dry emboss, heat emboss, very old stickers

emboss, gesso, diluted distress paint, sand, add doodled flowers made with paint chips

painted and stamped background with collage sheet image

paper towel and magazine letters

brown paper crinkled and painted with Art Anthology Sorbet paint

paper and painted scraps and doodled houses

circle background stamp with punched circles from old shaving cream background, old sticker and magazine letters

bits and pieces from old card from a friend

They look great. You're going to have to bring it to the LBH one day so I can see it up close.

Oh yes ... love them all. Must try the brown paper crinkled and painted. Looks like a fun project.
