Paint chip tag

I host a monthly "Inspiration Mingle" on an online group. August's inspiration piece is this turquoise purse with pink tie (sorry, the color of the scan is off). I drew inspiration from the colors and used a large paint sample from a home improvement store as the base of my tag. This happened to be a turquoise sample which I used for the back and then adhered turquoise paper with pink polka dots to the other side. (Again, I guess the scanner doesn't like turquoise as this looks green! IRL, it is turquoise and pink!) The little girl is an image from the Internet and I used text paper for her dress, cut triangle and heart shapes from various pink patterned papers and doodled on the left side with a white gel pen. I love the pom pom fiber (which did happen to scan the right color)!
